Hola everyone, good day!!! What a delicious
day it is over here right in my cozy cubicle saturated with cool air and light
music that sinks into the soul. Oh my!!! you need to pay a visit someday. Okay let’s
go straight to business…
Photography and military experience are
linked. The same way a soldier will pose to take a shot looking through the
gauge or scope is same way a photographer poses to take a shot looking through
the lens. If both parties don’t focus, they will miss their shot in so doing
failing the mission and jeopardizing their career. This also can be related to
our daily lives as regards chasing our dreams.
We all want to be this and that but how can
we even get there? It looks so big that we feel we can’t do it all alone. Fear and discouragement sinks you like quick
sand. The only way you can refocus your eyes is by confession.
In order to achieve your dreams, you need
absolute focus. If you allow people sway you, you will lose your identity. You should also know that “somebody
open door does not disrupt your open door”. So don’t be envious.
I remember a part of the Bible Acts 28:2-6
where Paul (oh yea my name sake) was in a shore with some islanders sitting close to a fire,
a viper dive on his hand and fasten its fangs on him while the Islanders judged
him to be a murderer and said “justice is after him”. Mr. Paul
didn’t freight nor explain to them that he is innocent, instead he showed them
how innocent he was by shaking the snake into the fire and they changed their
mouth when they saw he didn’t die. They began to say “he is a god”.
The greatest mistake of your life is to focus
on the judgment of people who don’t know you. Your friends do not require your
explanation neither does your critic understand your explanation, keep
quiet and leave them to their own opinion. You need to learn how to survive
wrong accusation…they have wrong understanding that’s why they speak wrong.
What is ahead of you is far greater than
what is behind you, why do you think it’s called back biting.
You cannot fully focus on two things at same
time. Look at the athletes; despite applaud or insult from the spectators,
they focus on the finish line. Press on from behind. Just like the lady
with the issue of blood (Mark 5:27), she didn’t care about anyone, all she
cared about was her miracle and she got it.
Look out for next week Monday as I bring you more on how
to stay Focus in the next episode.
