In
the book titled “The Anointing”,
preacher and author Benny Hinn said
"In the bible,
pointing towards the first coming of the messiah, the prophet Zechariah says as
for you also, because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners
free from the waterless pit" (Zechariah 9:11-1).
God, talking about his people, is saying
because of the blood of Christ, the blood of the new covenant, will set them
free. And the fact is that a lot of people have no clue as to how they can and
should apply the blood to their lives and receive the liberty of repentance and
all the truths of the faith. Many are still bound. Demons harass them. Sickness
hit them and their children. Confusion is destroying their peace"
Christians aren't meant to go around looking for churches seeking miracles and healing (Matthew 9:10;12). The Bible made it clear in John 1:12 "for as many that have believed in Him and have become his followers he gave them power to become children of God". They are to be the performers of miracles and administrators of healing. Haven't you read in the Bible were it is written "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5). It is something that belongs to the children; it comes automatically with the New Man’s DNA.
If you check through the Bible, all who came to Jesus for healing were unbelievers, and during their encounter with Jesus, they "believed" and were “healed”. If the Bible says they believed and they were healed, doesn't that make them "believers"? For healing to have taken place they had to believe in Jesus and that he was truly sent by the father. Did you know accepting Jesus Christ into your life as your lord and personal saviour, believing he was sent by God to die for you because of His love and on the third day he rose again and is sitted at the right hand side of the father, has made you healed of all and everything the devil has place in your life? Also you have joined the family of God and the ownership of your life now belongs to God.

of God". He has replaced your old man who could get sick and was
doomed to die, with a new man (his
spirit). You evolve from being just man (human) to Spirit Man (Child
of God)."Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old
things are passed away; behold, they are become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17), who can never get sick, who is now a channel
or vessel to be used by God to administer healing and perform miracles and
is forever made for life. The Bible says “we are like Christ”, there was no chapter
in the Bible where it was recorded “Christ
got sick or was possessed by demons” so since you are like Christ whatever
could not affect him can't affect you. As children of God who have the spirit
man, only the Holy Spirit is allowed to possess you. Luke 4:18
says "The
Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news
to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery
of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free”.
Since we are believers (Christians) and have come in contact with Jesus, we have been
healed of all sickness, all diseases and any sort of attack of the enemy (Satan) has been bothering us with. And
we by Jesus have being appointed to cast out impure spirit and to heal all kind
of sicknesses and diseases...
