Ever heard of a Christian RnB? If you haven't then pay close attention to this one Never Too Late. Its Never too late for God to do anything despite how long you might wait, remember he is always on time.
The artist of this amazing song is Idikwu Joseph Ikande popularly known as Joey, a songwriter and composer, a Nigerian based gospel /motivational artist that is eclectic in his approach to music and a lover of all genres. He is more of an R and B singer, though his flair for soft rock still stands out as his first single released “Standing Ovation” attests to this.
He is Igede by Tribe from Benue State, born into a family of seven (7), the second (2nd) of five (5) siblings. Joey is a Nurse by profession and a music lover by birth, (I bet he gives his patient live concert for free hehe)

His musical background dates back to his early childhood and has ever since grown with him till date. His experience with music gets better as the years roll by as he has always been an active singer in different choirs, serving at  different capacities and also backed up for some big time Gospel Music Heroes like Lionel Peterson, Chris Delvan, Panam Percy Paul, Solomon Lange, Freke Umoh and the host of others. These experiences have taught him that humility is the staircase to the height of success in a man's life.
He dropped his debut single “Standing Ovation” December 2013 while Never Too Late dropped at the close of 2014. The inspiration for his first song he says was borne out of a grateful heart that is perplexed by God’s show of love, left with no certain expression to display and so, helplessly stands in ovation.
His words to you are keep focus, let God be true and all men are liars (lol, i love the last part)

NEVER TOO LATE LYRICS

Am I patient enough
To know you care for me
This much
Am I wounded too badly
To know I can get a hand when in need
But then You came along the way and
Pat me on the back and tell me its gon’ be okay
Then you whispered words of faith and
Gently offering me a chance to hold on, hold on

You’re never too late for me
So I can’t help but jubilate cos You’re real
You’re always on time and I never get tired of waiting
Cos I know that you are on your way
You’re always on time and I never get tired of waiting
Cos I know that you are on your way

Scriptures they tell me that
They that wait upon you will surely find their strength in you
And my eyes are fixed on you
And shame is far from me
Are your burdens too heavy that
You cant even bring yourself to hold on

You’re never too late for me
So I can’t help but jubilate cos You’re real Lord
You’re always on time and I never get tired of waiting
Cos I know that you are on your way
You’re never too late for me
So I can’t help but jubilate cos You’re real Lord
You’re always on time and I never get tired of waiting
Cos I know that you are on your way
You’re always on time and I never get tired of waiting
Cos I know that you are on your way

I’ll stay with your word
Cos I know you’ll come through

For me

You’re never too late for me
So I can’t help but jubilate cos You’re real Lord
You’re always on time and I never get tired of waiting
Cos I know that you are on your way
You’re never too late for me
So I can’t help but jubilate cos You’re real Lord
You’re always on time and I never get tired of waiting
Cos I know that you are on your way
You’re always on time and I never get tired of waiting
Cos I know that you are on your way
Never too late
You’re always on time

STANDING OVATION LYRICS

Your ways are beyond
human comprehension
My words will fail
To express how I feel
You've been more than enough
You're all that to me
Your love is all I have
So I give it all to you
In standing ovation

Something about you
I can't understand
I can't seem to lay my hands on
I can't seem to fathom
Something about you
No one can express
No one has the explanation
No one has the answer
Something about you

No fame in this world can separate me from you
(Separate me,separate me,from you)
No glory unknown
Can take your love from me
You've been more than enough
So I give it all to you
In standing ovation

Something about you
I can't understand
I can't seem to lay my hands on
I can't seem to fathom
Something about you
No one can express
No one has the explanations
No one has the answers
Something about you

Limitless God you are
Unchangeable God you are
No one can explain your power
No one can unfold your mysteries

Something about you
I can't understand
I can't seem to lay my hands on
I can't seem to fathom
Something about you
No one can express
No one has the explanations
No one has the answers
Something about you
