Every come across this quote? “Silence
is the best answer for a fool”. Hummm… what’s so powerful about silence
that it can be used as a weapon especially when it comes to addressing fools?
I have heard couple of people complain how
much they dislike “Quiet” people, maybe because they are scared of the unknown.
Although, every human has silence installed in their being
which comes in very handy with issues that affect happiness.
Even the Bible is concerned about silence
Proverbs
17:28: Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise; When he closes
his lips, he is considered prudent.
You need to befriend yourself. Your company
needs to be your favourite company.
This
way you find it easy to understand yourself every now and then; you know your
strength and weakness also upgrade and tune up certain attitude that haven’t
been of suitable use. In silence evaluation and discernment
are not far-fetched from each other.
How did great philosophers come up with laws
and theories? In the midst of certain argument and debates, they stole out
great silence in order to digest all they have said and heard, this
got them exposed to a realm of profound understanding which produced profitable
conclusions.
Silence on its own is noisy.
I don’t know how many of you observe that when you are alone and your
environment is so quiet, there is a piercing never ending sound deep within the
ear drums that becomes noise on its own.
There are many things no one thought me,
rather my silence did. When you take out quiet time, you give God
opportunity to speak to you clearer and easier.
“Silence is a powerful weapon installed into
our being from the onset”. With silence
you can avert war, quarrel, misunderstanding and even undertake personal
upgrade.
