NORI'S CLOTHING UNVEILS

    Hola Abuja, Hola world!!! Something pretty cool went down this weekend here in the magnificent city of Abuja FCT at Cubana Lounge. Right before my very eyes, an unbelievable fashion label unveiled by giving audience a cutting edge performance and fashion display. Abuja finest women were present and this indeed spiced things up as mighty men of valor steamed the venue also.

   Great personalities were in the house, some of which I spoke to personally, Abuja sexiest comedian Boss Jay, Abuja finest Host Mrs Ejiro Igbogidi, Kenya Ambassador, CEO Cubana, Pastor Adejare…other performances by Japhy Davis, Eve Urrah, Joey and lots more.

    Nori fashion label was birthed in 2011 but before now has done few displays and exhibition amongst which is the “Fight Against Sexual Violence” organized by British Embassy.

   Nori is aimed at building a woman who is confident, classy and versatile.

  If there is one thing I love about Nori is the Theme. The collections are grouped into four captioning categories.

The Aquarius Woman: This collection depicts the confidence, independence, classy with an electric personal style of a woman. It pushes the boundary of what is expected to be the norm. It is weird but cool.

Innocent Mischief: This collection talks about the playful, free spirited woman who is full of life, fun and also exudes a lot of feminity.

Rebel: she is a non-conformist, a take to the street-style that boarders on originality. The Rebel is a show stopper one that insists on making her own statements.

Allure Woman: this collection is charming, speaks elegance and is classy. A woman’s image is alluring, highly attractive and fascinating.

     I got talking with the Founder of Nori’s Clothing, Uga Enyi and she sai“What inspired me into having my own fashion label is the strong passion for fashion and style also with the thought of me making money out of it. On the other hand, the challenges that emerge on this basis are the fact that tailors are difficult and unstable…this days tailors are used to simple style to sew rather than artistic styles making it difficult for them to put my drawings into reality. The greatest thing that can happen to me is if my designs are been appreciated and if I get recommendations after this show…although my intention is to make Nori a house hold name.
