    One is bound to make assumptions at one time or another… suffice it to say “that was the birthplace of this piece” . For the most part, however, assumptions are not always great, because they tend to mar our opinion and views of the things around us. This is because actions, words, basically anything can be misinterpreted when one makes incorrect assumptions (I know this for a fact.) I figured out that I tend to assume things more often than not.

     It's a breath of fresh air, a reason to live, motivation for looking forward to a new day. We all need such thrills, new challenges, new tasks, new lands to conquer and chances to show forth our victories. Learning new things can be exciting, it has this special way of stimulating the brain cells and leaving you rejuvenate and full of purpose.    

     Was surfing the net and I came across this amazing article I believe will help everyone who have a control freak in their lives. Believe me at some point picking a gun to empty the bullet chamber on a control freak won’t be a bad idea but hey “no one will forgive you for not handling things maturely”.

        Just like how gold is made beautiful and pure by its hot, form charging smelting, so is a man made or marred by the experience which he has undergone. These processes though sometimes unpleasant are necessary for making a man who he is . A gold smith does not spare his metal the heat of the furnace because he knows that a low heat will only serve to make it devoid of goodness in time to come, he perseveres with no consideration for himself, purifies the metal and makes it a lot most sought after commodity . It goes to say therefore that the knowledge we have gathered over the years through our individual experiences were necessary in the persons that we have become, it was aimed at beautifying us and making us of unquantifiable worth . This is the furnace where our attitudes are formed. These are the properties we have chosen to take away from those purifying processes and therefore it forms the foundations of our being.  Every come across this quote? “Silence is the best answer for a fool” . Hummm… what’s so powerful about silence that it can be used as a weapon especially when it comes to addressing fools?    I have heard couple of people complain how much they dislike “ Quiet ” people, maybe because they are scared of the unknown. Although, every human has silence installed in their being which comes in very handy with issues that affect happiness.    Even the Bible is concerned about silence Proverbs 17:28: Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise; When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent.

     I loved it when I learnt that God owns our body and that He made us stewards over them. I thought that was remarkable. It however follows that as good stewards, we ought to take utmost care of that which has been committed to our trust.   Personal grooming is how we can achieve this; we ought to learn how to take care of our appearance, hygiene and clothing. This is the sum total of “ who we are” . How one dresses is how they will be addressed.     Cleanliness they say is next to Godliness, I can't say what the rationale behind this saying is, but I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that God is clean, he made us clean bodies, and He'd want us to keep it clean as well. Taking regular baths, brushing our teeth, flossing, keeping our hair neat, washing and ironing our clothes...the list is endless but all is aimed at enhancing self-image and making one look and feel presentable at all times.
