SPEECHLESS by Marilynn Akpomera

The beginning seemed so exquisite, elegant, expensive and without any errors. The plan was so perfect God knew He had done well by creating these creatures that were made in His image and likeness. His heart melted with joy that these beings would always stand as His representatives because His spirit dwelt in them.

Without consulting, there was an instant obligation and role to take charge of the very same earth he was made from. The change wasn't questionable and surely we were made to dominate. The Father's love was so broad and strong it couldn't accommodate any fraud.

Its purity was crystal clear, its beauty pierced deep through our eyes and there's no doubting its surety. But man came to a place of doom acting like he knew; when it was obvious he had no clue. His eyes stretched to the consciousness of becoming less, no more friends with the king, a total mess and now wanting a dress.

Man had walked away from God's nest just for the sake of trying to become the "best". The devil had succeeded in drawing man to the place of emptiness and foolishness

The Father was hurt, He knew He couldn't close His eyes to the current scene or act like He wasn't concerned. He wasn't going to stand oblivious of the act. So man had to pay by walking away from the place of gain.

Struggling now became the only option to continue living, pain was the definition of actualizing your aim, and man’s whole essence seemed almost like a waste.

God knew there had to be a difference, man had to come back to the place of confidence and again become limitless but this must be from the altar of sacrifice. The blood of animals couldn't open the door of repentance nor bring us to the floor of righteousness. Only the Lamb can withstand the level of harm, bring man back to God's arm and so He obliged to the Father's plan.

He came in the form of man, born of a woman to be able to fulfil every part of God's heart. Time past and He grew into a teenager with vast knowledge and understanding without people remembering He was born in a manger.

His personality was questioned, how can He be in the form of humanity and yet exhibit divinity? Various suggestions were made about His mission, decisions, dimensions and what possibly could be the conclusion? But Jesus stood still in the place of focus because He had to do this at all cost.

The very same creatures He formed now accused Him of blaspheming. The disciples He chose betrayed Him and He was taken, beaten to be crucified. It was so bad that a criminal was chosen over Him but He knew that they were blinded and had no idea who He is.

He was hung up like a man without any honour but the irony of the situation is this is where He gained all the recognition. He took upon Himself the totality of our being and accepted defeat just to make us fit.

The sacrifice was accepted, the thick irreplaceable smoke went up to the father and the curtain tore providing us limitless access to the KING. The lamb was slain once and we've now become sons. There's no more condemnation, no more limitation, no more stagnation, no more depression nor struggle. Our freedom has being birth and we're no longer subject to death.

We stand speechless because God has made us the definition of His success and brought us to our place of rest.

We stand speechless because we've conquered darkness and explode into brightness.

We stand speechless waiting for the devil to come do his best because we know we got the best defence.

We stand speechless because we've made the kingdom of darkness breathless and they've recognised that we're priceless.

Today we stand speechless because Christ has given us newness and we say yes! To this presence, and celebrate our righteousness. Hallelujah.
