My 30 Creative Valentine Gift list

Firstly, I want us to understand that nothing is too big or too small to be given or received as a gift. You must know what your friend likes and crave for before lynching your brain on what to buy.

As a Nigerian, I know how tight the economy has starved love but there are ways to hack through to prove we love our loved ones regardless of the pocket size. It’s all about thinking outside the box and combining elements that will blow brains to bits.

Here is my 3o creative valentine gift list I feel will make people awwwwww.

1) Affordable massage treat (You can get as low as 4,000naira in Nigeria)

2) Pizza & Ice-cream (Send Dominos pizza and cold stone ice cream to him or her)

3) Buffet at an affordable restaurant (Oh yea, you can also do a home buffet...you can turn your dinning room to an Italian resturant)

4) Food stuff in carton (Indomie, pasta, biscuits, tea bag… name it, it will go a long way to feed a home)

5) Basmati rice (who doesn’t crave for such taste?)

6) Original Spices (Ensure it’s something they don’t have, the more the person cooks with it, the more they think of you)

7) Fuel in a Jerrycan (A Nigerian will kiss your foot for this lol)

8) Handmade/customised valentine Card (Just make sure the person is a card person if not the dustbin might read it)

9) Bestselling novel (Or forward the person Mobster in-laws link lol)

10) Motivational book (Stir your loved ones up with the right materials)

11) Spiritual book (His/her spirit will be forever thankful for elevating it)

12) Music album Cd (You can get a mp3 version… a discography will be awesome)

13) Movies Cd (You can get a softcopy version, make sure it’s a Cinema kinda movie)

14) Game Cd (if you can buy a game console cooler and hum message me lol)

15) Movie ticket (I would be giving out a movie ticket sometime this year)

16) A pair of shoes (Something you think will be cool for his/her feet)

17) Cloth (A pair of jean or shirt would do)

18) Jacket (Omg, a blazer won’t be bad)

19) A Tie (Someone got me a tie, my loved increased for her. She’s married though so it’s a good kinda love lol)

20) Accessories (Wrist watches, eyeglass, earrings, bracelets)

21) Perfume & Bath gel (Perfect combo that would create a scented friendship/relationship)

22) Back packs (Office Bags, school bags)

23) File Jacket (For the official friends who you think need official arrangement)

24) Wallet (I wished someone got me one before I did)

25) Card holder (Really important for official folks)

26) Premium apps and Softwares (I have a rock app, I need the premium version)

27) Call credit/ data subscription (Can I get an amen for this)

28) Dstv, GoTV/ Cable subscription (We all know how empty we feel when our cable subscription runs out)

29) Power Bank (PHCN aren’t doing any good these days, save someone's life by giving them a power bank to stay online)

30) Your presence (Yes, some of us are not around for our loved ones and family and our presence mean a lot to them)

Wrap up

Everything and anything go for a valentine gift. Different folks with different strokes, certain things might not mean as much as movie tickets or a massage treat to someone. All you have to do is find that NEED in someone’s life and give it to them. 

I might not have mention anything that appeal to your taste but try to do something new and different. 

Don’t let anyone deceive you valentine is for lovers alone. Everyone has a space that needs to be filled with love and care. Find it and fill it.
