I remember when lecturers are having problems Assu goes on strike, when they have not paid government workers salary there is national strike, even during the fuel subsidy there was a hot strike but now our girls are missing, no one has gone on strike WHY? I haven't even heard "#Bring Back our Girls" as a prayer point in the church and this is making me raise one eyebrow wondering if we really care about this girls.
Today Ovuson Henry aka Slimboy an 18yearold rising star from the Eastern part of Nigeria who resides in Lagos State came up with an extraordinary artistic track titled #Bring Back our Girls featuring John Ovuson aka Jaymillz (you remember him the Nigerian with the Russian accent in War for Peace). So far i haven't heard any song preaching patriotism, safety, love and concern as much as he has done in this beautiful piece. This so far has proven my assertion true "the children of yesterday are the leader of today". Let this be our anthem that would usher us into a world free of hatred, anger, war and destruction.
