Why Young People Fail in Relationships

Lately, I figured out we have more relationship advisers who are struggling to save their wrecking relationships.

The increased rate of break-ups and make-ups is enough to make the next generation uninterested in matching up. Fortunately, the unquenchable hunger and thirst for relationships among them have amplified.

Your first love is the realest, your first heartbreak is hottest.

For those young guys and girls who are stuck in an up and down relationship bar chart, understand why young people fail in relationships from these few handy tips.

1. Love is not enough:

You can say “I love you”, you can write it, engrave it or show it but my brothers and sisters…it’s never enough.

Certain vitality needs to be in place for a relationship to be sustained. Mutual respect, focus, goal orientation, understanding, sacrifice, religion, family background and most especially finance etc are yardsticks that make love worthy these days.

Enough of the fairy tales, society has opened our eyes to realise love cost a huge thing. So instead of singing “I love you”, why don’t you try looking for a concrete and matured way to show and sustain it?

2. Opposite perspective:

Opposite attracts right? In my opinion, it’s an occasional experience especially when it comes to perspective. When there is too much friction; there are wears and tears that causes damages.

If two people cannot see things in the same perspective and are together, after a period of time continuous disagreement is likely to suffocate them leading to a reduction in vital communication and there about break up.

Normally when we meet someone for the first time, what enhance the attraction is how much we connect and perceive issues from the the same angle.

Understanding enhance love, lack of it fries love on the argument pan.

3. SPACE:

I had to write that in CAPS cos people don’t really understand what it means to give your guy some space especially ladies.

I see young lovers chock themselves every now and then with calls and numerous expectations. C’mon you guys aren’t married!!!

Give him/her a reason to miss you. Get yourself busy developing yourself and capacity in various areas so your minds will be positively engaged.

4. Over expectation:

Movies, songs and other people’s façade relationships have enhanced young people anticipation of love. When they don’t see this, they begin to ponder “what the heck is going on?”

Can you remember how your first love was? Indeed you put in the best and expected the best but the best refused to be a guest on your ship.

Young people deposit their heart into the bank of love only to be credited with heartbreak cos the brain of their heart isn’t matured to educate them over not depositing everything.

You can never be sure of the other person as much as yourself.

Give but don’t give all, promise but don’t promise what you can’t fulfil.

5. Not knowing each other dislikes:

Majority young people are ignorant over their partner’s likes and dislike not to mention staying away from their dislikes.

What pleasure is been derived from deliberately hurting the person you love?

Individual differences and preferences should be properly understood in order to create a smooth level of understanding and free communication flow.

Understanding both flaws gives you an added advantage to keep up with each other.

Wrap up

Don’t allow anyone to be too special to control your heart neither should you give anyone the opportunity to break your heart.

There is no need to rush, enjoy the moment and expand your capacity. Days are coming where you will run away from relationships cos your personality is demanded by the world.
