THE GOOD SIDE OF EVERYTHING

 

    Today i dont want to talk much, just intend sharing something ultimately needed in our daily lives. 

   When things get really sour, the first thing we think about is the negative side. How bad it affects us, spoils our prepared plans, sometimes our goals and all sorts. We spend so much dwelling on the negative that the positive. 

   In my article "The Sense in Death" i made mention of something very captioning.

"When people die we have enough space to bring out the best in us, we see things a whole lot different, we become serious, focus, determined, compassionate, however take up dreams that we might not want to ever dream. Death stimulates us to venture into a matured state of living...there are two sides of the coin, i choose to focus on the positive side"

    Gbam!!! This applies to any situation we can ever think of. What other situation can be so sour outside loosing somebody? or probably loosing yourself?.

   A friend of mine lately lost a close female friend of his, someone he actually had a huge crush on. Infact he had plans on dating her and suddenly she took ill and passed a way. Really touching but i had to clarify him that the positive side of it all is that thank God it didn't happen while they were dating because he might as well been thinking of following her along. Her absence will strengthen him towards a positive sense.  I am so sorry brother. Take heart and look unto Jesus the never ending source of Joy.

   Another friend of mine recently got posted to Ogun state for her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC); she felt like disappearing in anger. I had to speak calmly to her knowing fully well this is where i am serving as well. I told her greatness is not based on where you are posted to rather the magnitude of greatness that place can bring out of you. I made it clear that this zone will spring forth the matured state in her, boost her independence and cause her to focus on God in every need. 

   In life we do ourselves more good if only we choose to put a blind eye to the situation and just focus on the bright side...even if there is no bright side, fashion it with your image nation and it will surely come to reality because we have what we say...what we say emerge from what we fashion in our imagination. Remember as a man is in his heart so is he....so is his reality.

   Speaking from experience, when i was posted to this zone i was viciously mad and disgusted until i finally chose to see the good side of everything and today i am evoking tremendous impact in the lives of people in this zone.
