NATION BUILDING

Which country is the world’s power?
If you actually called the name of the country then you are wrong in this article.
Every country has its own madness to suite its development. Is it the cold in Russia, the legalization of cannabis in Spain, Netherlands, Uruguay…. the outlaw law in United States, the xenophobic attack in South Africa, the rise of ISIS in the middle East, the rise of Boko Haram in Nigeria, the animalistic adaptation of same sex marriage… these madness however makes all countries equal.

They say Europe underdeveloped Africa but I say “Africa underdeveloped itself” because with the rate at which the globe is advancing every day, you don’t need to wait for anyone before you develop yourself. What Africa got wrong is that they thought development is skyscrapers, good roads, schools, hospitals and so on unknown that development is a mindset, something abstract that springs forth itself into a realistic realm when saturated within the minds of the citizens.
I want you to agree with me, in Nigeria today we have schools in every axis, higher institution is no more a big deal…a three bedroom flat can be converted to a secondary school during the day and a university in the evening, but has this helped us in anyway. We have more graduates in the nation but still exhibit the attitudes of underdeveloped nation through our physical carriage, environmental structures, social media presence, movies, music and even politics.

A definition of development stresses that “a country is set to be developed when you cannot identify between the rich and the poor”

Yes we laugh at petty petty traders, but should I shock you that those guys who run smaller business like Okada riders (Bike), Akara seller, Mama put, Brick layers, Wheel Barrow pusher and so on have one way or the other been of utmost importance. These businesses sprung up as a result of incapable hands in the government to provide sufficient food for the nation which can be purchased cheaply at fast-food, flexible/organized transport services, a constructive property developmental scheme, affordable health infrastructures etc.
If not for these petty petty traders, we won’t afford many things we crave for or be transported to some areas cars might not even be able to pilot through (especially in a state like Ogun State)

Nation building is collective. No matter how poor or rich you are, you have an economical importance to your environment and its wise you open your eyes to look out for that particular thing you can do to better your environment, society and country.

No one is invalid, everyone is resourceful.
What is the essence of food if no salt?
What‘s the essence of plane if no air?
What’s the essence of ship if no sea?
What’s the essence of life if there is no you?
Whichever country you find yourself at your birth is not a mistake. It was destined; created, well-structured and constructed for you to be where you are… it is simply God putting you through the regular process of life which requires you bringing out the best from the worst. God himself did this in the creation of the earth when earth was dark and void. His creative power has been encrypted into our very vain causing us to be creative in our very own skills and environment.

I feel God gave every country their own madness and solution, imagine if snow was falling in Nigeria, how frozen all of us would have been or imagine if Hurricane, earthquakes are what we witness yearly to add with the dangerous politics played on our lives, by now our population would be nothing but few or empty. But still c’mon corruption we are still fighting since day one. (Thank God nothing else is added ooo)

Never you call yourself poor nor complain about where you are coming from because you are not the first in this stage nor will you be the last, many people are envying your position and willing to overtake if need be. You should rather be focusing on how to move forward in a positive light speed as well as carry people along with you through mentorship, training, educating, employing etc.
Don’t try play God with Human lives, its good we remain good and do what we were sent here on earth to do.

Imagine life this way “everyone is a candle stick lighted up, the wicked ones turn off other peoples light so that theirs will shine brighter in the dark, unknown that when the breeze blows out their light there will be total darkness forbidding them to light their candle from any source…unlike if everyone’s light remains, when your light falls out, you can easily light up your candle from a nearby stick"
   Stay beautiful people.

  1. Nice one Mr Paul, well the way I see things have been half said in your article but remember we are blacks... when the foundation is bad, what will bricklayers do? life is a game in two ways, either rich or poor, tall or short, fat or slim, wise or dull, good or bad and dead or alive. God knows what He wanted in each countries so He embedded different characters but for man to meet the satisfactory level, must love one another equally and fear God. A word is enough for a wise. No! Sorry that's an old version. "It's a scare is better than an advice" Stay blessed #IamTheoracle
