WHO SHOT FLIGHT MH17?

   There is an African saying "When the elephants are fighting, the grasses suffer". The on going crisis between Russian and Ukraine has come to its peak as at yesterday when a Malaysia Airplane was shot down in Ukraine anonymously.

   On Thursday July 17 2014 Malaysia Airline flight MH17 crashed in Ukraine 31miles away from Russia boarder with 295 passengers killing everyone on board. Ukraine claims flight was targeted by Russian forces, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said "Ukraine is ultimately responsible for the crash of the Malaysian airline". The plane was heading to Kuala Lumpur from Amsterdam when it went down in rebel-controlled eastern Ukraine region.

   Eurocontrol, which is responsible for air traffic control across Europe has said it will reject any flight plans which include Eastern Ukraine after the airspace was closed by Kiev authorities. British Airways has said it will  keep its daily flight to Kiev, some distance away from the crash site. The International Air Transport Association, the global airline body base in Geneva, is denying reports that the Malaysia Airlines flight was in restricted airspace at the time it went down "Based on the information currently available, it is believed that the airspace that the aircraft was traversing was not subject to restrictions".

   There was lot of confusion as at yesterday over what happened to MH17's black boxes, the recorders that would detail the flight's final moments. The Ukrainian military is claiming that the pro-Russian separatists have recovered the first box meanwhile the box is what will determine if the aircraft's crew were given any warning by forces on the ground. The second black box was recovered by rescue workers.

Report says the plane wasn't shot down with a shoulder anti-air missile but instead a BUK anti-air missile which has four missiles; each is 16ft long, carries 154pounds of explosive, weighs 1500weight and travels 2684mph. It was said that the plane was about 32,00ft when it was blown off the sky. Both Russia and Ukraine have this artillery in their arsenals yet no of them has claimed responsibility for the plane crash.

   United state have deployed investigative team to work hand in hand with the Ukrainian government to facilitate the investigation. Eye witnesses who are resident of Grabovo the village where flight MH17 crashed said they heard loud explosions before they saw the plane falling down from the skies in bits and pieces.

    This is a sour summer for the world at this point, a woman who missed the flight was shaking at the airport almost falling sick when she heard the news realising she has cheated death, she said "I think I got a second chance".

    Right now the question is what will be done to accused if found guilty?
