5 Tips Why Entrepreneur Need To Dress Smart.

I remember some time back, I was at a bar chilling the afternoon stress out on a chilled Hollandia yoghurt when one chick approached the barman. She was actually running an important marketing survey on their sales price but she wasn’t properly dressed so the barman didn’t take her serious, as a matter of fact he treated her like trash cos accompanied with her awful dress sense, the words coming out of her mouth weren’t holding as much sensitivity

Deep within me I said if only she knew certain tips on why entrepreneur need to dress smart, she would get numerous answers from men her killer look hallucinate.

Below are some tips that every entrepreneur needs to know about dressing smart.

1. It makes a good impression: My guy was telling me about a marketer he met lately who was selling a Multi-Level Marketing (networking) idea to him and he looked at the guy’s colleagues only to observe that they got worn out shoes and dress. He told me he lost appetite in the talk immediately.

I believe if the marketer’s colleagues were properly dressed regardless of their income, they would have bought my guy instantly. Dressing good doesn’t necessarily involve a huge capital; all you need is the right ideas and combination.

They say first impression matters a lot yea…to an extent its true. When people see your sharp crease on your trouser and shirt line ready to slice any substance, trust me, their firewall would fall.

This explains why the chief quote of a good marketer, entrepreneur, says “dress to impress”.

NOTE: Its not about formal or informal dressing, its about knowing why you need to dress smart.

2. It gives you confidence: “Clean underwear boost your confidence” Trust me this is a confirm truth. Have you ever worn torn underwear and you feel the world knows that dark secret lying underneath your legs? When people turn you down at that moment, you feel its cos of the bad torn omen you wearing.

This can still be applied to our outfit, the one people can see. When you dress smart which involves cleanliness, well shaved, cute hairstyle, and freshly scented, trust me you feel your ego swelling.

I remember a quote “when you over starch your dress, people think you are proud”…nooo don't over starch your dress for any reason, it might rip itself apart in the wrong situation without warning.

One reason a soldier is ultra confident on the battlefield is cos of his outfit, he knows his looks melts the defense of his enemies. This applies to our everyday life fashion sense.

3. It boosts your creativity/productivity: When you are confident, your creat-ti-vo-metre is super charged. Ideas flow from within. You become a magnet that attracts ideas swarming in the universe airwaves.

Dressing smart makes people see you as an icon they want to reckon with, they feel secure before you and this gives you an edge towards handling things that would rank your personality high.

For people to commit money or draw you close for business or support, you need to give them a sustainable assurance through your fashion style.

NOTE: Dressing smart is a non-verbal communication that woo people towards accepting your offer.

4. It helps you stand out: Ever seen Unicorn? I bet it stands out from a horse. You don’t necessarily have to dress like Kanye West of Kim .K. West lol for you to stand out; all you need is go with what roll with your looks.

Trust me; it’s not everyone certain outfit fits. Same way we have assorted food that compliments people’s differences, is same way fashion styles are.

Take a big mirror and model yourself before family and friends and ask for their opinion or probably do some research online or you can as well join some BBM groups that give you hints with pictures.

5. The compliments: Who doesn’t like hearing sweet things about him/herself.

Yesterday I was at the saloon, after having one hour chiseled laser haircut, I got home and my mum told me “damn your hair cut ain’t as fine as the previous”  My evening was ruined mehn, felt like dying cotton wool black then attach it to my my funny hairstyle.

One simple comment can make or mar your day due to your fashion sense. I believe we want our day to end well, that’s the more reason we need to dress smart.

In conclusion, regardless of your earning, you can achieve the aforementioned. Either male or female, all you need is just know nice color combination, your right size... ensure your outfit is neat, well ironed, scented and you good to go.

You can go as far as coming up with your own creative fashion sense, by the way these days some madness can be mistaken for fashion lol.
