Hola guys, I remember a 2013 marketing movie
that shot my head off the roof “Syrup”. The
movie triggered a thought “the main
character “Scat” isn’t the only one going through similar scripted problem”.
I know many male folks have been in Scat shoes like 5billion times, what a
painful repetition to reckon.
How emotionally disturbing does it feel to
save what has blown up into bits and pieces, still we try fast talking time
into a rewind via questions that land more shrapnel. Although, spotting dangers
before it occurs is a brilliant attribute every mature person has to be
grateful for.
Majority business place has a catalyst; I’m
talking of the exquisite companies, offices that attract the world. There is
this smart, gorgeous, intelligent, bright skinned, perfume scented, well carved
girl that gets everyone early to work either to watch her catwalk down the hall
way or hear her angelic soprano. In other occasion, it could be a guy. Though,
most bosses are debonair; today, I am talking of a female catalyst (yea the one that you and I know how
ridiculous our heart slammed on lust ring when we saw her contour.)
The scientific definition of Catalyst is “a
substance that causes a chemical reaction to happen more
quickly”. Another definition which I would be using is “a
person that causes change or action quickly in an individual”.
These set of people are usually off our
league, they often went to the best universities, use the most expensive
phones, have access to the posh places we can never think of taking ourselves
to, possess the classiest wardrobe, most times ride cars horses would envy, wear
perfume that blows off our olfactory bulb in ways dynamite wouldn’t. To crown
it all, they are quite intelligent; they know the play book of the organization
and boost the productive areas that awaken an increase in our own salary. They
are indeed the perfect definition of every man’s dream most importantly a vital
ingredient the company would rather drop 100 staff in their place. They are the
reason why clients, stakeholders troop into the office; we could as well call
them models, energizers, and appeals.

Now we know the sweet part of them let’s
turn them upside down. Some of these cute set of creatures often possess attributes
like jealousy, emotional instability, love for alcohol/drugs, promiscuity and
other negative attributes we might not want to associate our innocent selves
with but cos of the attraction we have for them, we might compromise.
In the previous life of some, they were cool
individuals who got caught in the battle between Good vs. Evil but lost.
SCAT:

What
happens when you go home and get into bed and realize that you’re no one?
And
you look at me with those stupid sexy eyes.

Majority catalysts have lost themselves in
the euphoria of spotlight and adoration. All they care about is their selfish
desire of been on top and staying there no matter the cost. Humility is
far-fetched and downward they decline later on.

at the billboard is supposed to feel like love at first sight
But
it’s not, it’s not real…

of it is real. It’s marketing.

Without
marketing, you wouldn’t know who you are…
Maybe…
Sometimes
you need to walk away from that. Because you haven’t been changed and you
haven’t been perfected.
You
are just drinking same old stuff.
If life is teacher and lessons are properly
understood, tailoring a better you aren’t far-fetched. The work of a catalyst is
to push us beyond limit, challenge and spur the very best in us. Without them,
we would feel comfortable with our current level which isn’t our best. It’s
high time we utilize and extract the positive energies discharged in our environment
to craft something in us the world can’t ignore.
In as much as we have been hurt, blamed, treated wrongly, there isn't any substantial reason to join the opposition. Be that positive catalyst that eradicate primitive/negative life practices for a better world.
