CONDOMS IN THE CHURCH

  

  Today makes it 28 days since my last post. I have been gathering information which i will be sharing with you. Frankly speaking, my spirit is bitter at this moment; I am deeply grief-stricken watching Christians live in contrast ideologies.

   Christianity is beyond religion, it’s a life style practiced worldwide, expressed wholly in the fullness of Christ who is in God. Part of the mission and vision of a church isn’t just saving people by feeding them with Christ but feeding them and clothing them as well.

   The church today is a mega organization that staffs numerous graduates, professionals and other skillful personae. It’s gone beyond a religious outfit to a business venture whereby fractions of franchises have sprung up from ministerial workmanship.

   Take a deep look at your community, what do you see? How clean is it? How safe is it? How holy is it? Are there signs that the churches in your area have positive impact in your community?

   Where I am currently located in Nigeria is saturated with several churches and schools, yet the lifestyle in this region is superficial, disheartening that sometimes I wonder if these religious and educational outfits are effective.

   Condom is a contraceptive used to avoid productivity (pregnancy) in our everyday life. Condom in the Church is just another way of saying "the church isn't bearing forth fruit as much as its designed to be". This is as a result of the damning policies, ideologies, perspectives embraced by pastors and even the congregation.

   We must have heard about touching stories on how the colonial masters brought Christianity to Nigeria; how education, medical and other necessary amenities slowly saturated our communities through these developmental agents. These things came freely, giving everyone equal right to basic knowledge. But today we are experiencing a divergent mission. The most expensive secondary and tertiary institutions in the country are owned by religious organizations. Regardless on the joint offering contributed by both poor and rich members to build the church and these institutions for the sake of ameliorating livelihood, people cant still afford the fee charges.

   How many churches give members scholarship, or support the school fees of the poor or even support the house rent of members. It’s either during a yearly program they perform such charity movement or during the end of the year like Christmas and New year celebrations. I’m not saying there aren’t churches or religious outfit who do not partake in mass charity daily/weekly/monthly, I believe several campaigns are currently going on as you read through this article and God will bless them earnestly but why don’t we get to see more charity aired on social media and TV than demand for fund that requires giving and not receiving? The regular punch line “God bless a cheerful giver” of course we know that already and we are truly blessed through giving but what happens after taking so much and the church is giving out so little?

   The formulae is (Giving × Giving = Lack of Lack). If both sides give accordingly, both sides receives equally because the pastors and congregation are meant to be one body.

   I was chatting with a beautiful friend "Ajayi Lizzy" yesterday, earlier on she sent me an outstanding poem which portray how she sees the church these days as "fools in pews, soiled souls in shiny finery". We got talking and she referred me to the book of Malachi...

   [Malachi 3:10] “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house”

   She made me understand that the above verse stated clearly “that there may be food in my house” meaning that every hungry person within the radius of the church ought not to hunger and thirst (including pastors and members). So i got thinking that no wonder Jesus had to feed the multitude because they were not paying attention due to hunger danger.

   Wait a minute does God eat? I need an answer to that cos some men of God paints a picture of a hungry man. Someone is cheating someone here (that's how I see it)

Do you know some families don’t have Sunday rice to eat after sharing the grace?

[Proverb 14:31] “He who oppresses the poor reproaches his maker, But he who honors him has mercy on the needy”.

   There are numerous passages in the Bible that speak against those that treat the poor badly. In the first place I expected the church which is a symbol of Christ to be the chief of charity. They are like an arm of government who decides and dominate the moral, psychological, spiritual lifestyle of the citizens which no doubt is weighty. It’s their responsibility to purify the environment in any way they can.

   Church sanitation can be extended to their community’s not just church vicinity. Some churches initiated summer camps but their fees are still on the high side therefore cutting some members off the financial benchmark. What of excursions, picnics, integration, and all that? These are ones in a blood moon packages. We need more brotherly love activities in the church other than evangelism that requires bringing in more people when we can’t even manage the few members we have. Gideon refuse going to battle with 10,000 men, he preferred fighting with 300 men who had Christ thinking...meaning population in a church does not determine the presence of Christ...although it doesn't stop us from sharing the word to unbelievers and saving them. Instead of dragging them to your church just follow them up and pray they are rooted in Christ.

   My church Graceville Christian Center adopted a beautiful technique called "Spot and Attach" where you make friend with someone you don't know every first Sunday of the month. The main objectives are for members to be united, follow up one another, linking businesses, building themselves spiritually and other wise. I have awesomely derived a lot from this. With this technique, i believe when the congregation population increases, we will still be united.

   Churches can go an extra mile by hosting entrepreneurship seminars, skill acquisition packages, instrumental classes, media training, ushering polishing to propel, inspire, motivate and equip members in several forms, grooming them for a better society. Although in an affordable rate such that the government will be forced to evoke a new approach towards its mode of operation.

   Few days back, i was watching a concert by Hillsong United, i saw thousands of people praising and worshiping God. I asked a friend why cant churches in Nigeria collaborate to host a mega concert where different christian band from all over the world perform. She said, its a great idea but who would take the offering? Immediately it done on me that greed is a major condom preventing the church from flourishing in productivity. If you observe majority church concerts are self sponsored in Nigeria, they want to share it all alone. 

    My neighbor was giving me a hot gist based on a true confession on how some pastors run deal with hoodlums in the community to host a program for ladies who don’t have fruit of the womb. She said, they place these hoodlums on special diet, give them special drugs to enhance their sexual performance prior to program and lodge them under surveillance in order to abstain from sex. Then on the day of the program, these boys are released and the ladies seeking for the fruit of the womb are taken to a dark place, ordered to shout “Jesus thank you” when they feel something touching their intimate parts (since when did the Holy Spirit have erection?). These so called pastors and hoodlums sleep with these women; some get pregnant and give birth. The rich ladies, who benefit from this immoral act, decorate the pastors with money and precious items. Meanwhile their husbands dance during child’s dedication and thanksgiving not knowing the atrocities done in the body of Christ.

   How will I forget the scandalous act where deacons, ministers play spiky intimacy games on young girls, leaving them with nothing but affirmation that the body of Christ is now polluted? How do you think pagans will perceive Christianity after seeing all this non-fiction tale?

   No one wants to speak the truth cos they want crowd. Pastors call themselves these days stating that the clarion call rings in their ears…who are we deceiving? God knows who he truly calls. Lately a family friend of mine who pastors a church in the United State visited his brach in Nigeria, only to figure out that his assistant pastor has opened his own church however stealing his members.

   Pastors barely support young talent these days. So far, I have proposed my personal development workshop in few churches. I was glad one accepted but another who gave me so much assurance kept postponing our agreement until I figured out through my spirit that he has been discouraged not to encourage me.

   Some think it’s when a pastor can tell your future, the color of your panties or food you ate at the age of five that determines the level truism in his calling, others would rather offend God than to offend their pastors…lol stop dulling yourself. People use all manner of tricks and dark powers these days to woo people. If God opens your eyes to see what lies under some pastor’s suit, you may not step into church again. 

[1John 4:1] "My dear friends, don't believe everything you hear. Carefully weigh and examine what people tell you. Not everyone who talks about God comes from God. There are alot of lying preacher s loose in the world."

   Some people think it’s only a man of God prayers that can heal them thinking some peoples righteousness are higher than the other not knowing that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The day you choose to be born again, you become new and God sees you clean and Holy, he sees Christ in you. Don't injure yourself. Your prayers does not irritate God? Bend your knees and pray your way to breakthrough.

    The whole reason for this Christian madness is because people want short cut to riches. They keep playing on the intelligence of others, exploiting souls to build their flesh. There is no short cut with God. He is the only way the truth and the light. Seek him first and everything will be added to you.

   I can go on and on but just know God is watching you all either pastor or congregation. As a reasonable and matured individual, seek to develop yourself on the word of God. There is nothing all these men of God know that you can’t know, there is no magic there. Sit your butt down and read the greatest book in world “the Holy Bible”, your life will be a new. No wonder Jesus said “my people perish because of lack of knowledge”

   My Christian life is a typical testimony, it didn’t just start one day, I battled all the way to get to this stage. But I had to make a huge step. I downloaded Youversion Bible app on my phone and subscribe to amazing plans to keep me hooked on the word. Use the technology available to serve God and not kill yourself.

   Don’t hinder yourself from productivity like condoms are meant to prevent fertility. Although, the world is coming to an end and there have been several prophesies concerning how Christians/the church will mar themselves. Its high time you keep yourself out of the damning consequences by turning new leaf.

   How would the government care over lives when the church that ought to lead by example has a huge condom tied around it? Stay tuned for more gist on this topic in my new book (still working on it)
